How Alimetry is making a difference in the world
Alimetry is a medical devices company making advanced diagnostics that non-invasively sense the gut. Alimetry was founded by Armen Gharibans, Peng Du, Stefan Calder, and Greg O'Grady in 2019, based on 10 years of world-leading gut electrophysiology research out of the Auckland Bioengineering Institute and the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
The support of Return on Science, New Zealand Venture Fund, Callaghan Innovation and a private manufacturer/investor has provided the funding for Alimetry to develop its first product. Alimetry is currently incubating in the Auckland Bioengineering Institute's Cloud9.
