HaloIPT

How HaloIPT is making a difference in the world

Built on decades of world leading research at the University of Auckland in the use of inductive power transfer technology, UniServices spun out HaloIPT in 2010 to provide wireless charging systems for electric vehicles with equivalent efficiency and far greater reliability and usability than existing plug-in charging systems. In 2011 HaloIPT was acquired by the wireless technology giant, Qualcomm, and later acquired by Witricity in 2018.
