Like a spring rising from the earth to nourish the land, our strategy is to turn the ever-flowing stream of research at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland into knowledge and impact – bringing ideas to life.
By 2030, we expect:
- World-leading research at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland will be growing and thriving.
- Our portfolio of game-changing impacts on society in Aotearoa New Zealand will have doubled in size over the last decade.
- We will be seen as leaders in impact investing here and overseas.
Te Tiriti and Equity
We are on a journey to become good Te Tiriti o Waitangi partners. We uphold a Māori intellectual property policy and work with the University to develop the capacity of researchers to engage with Vision Mātauranga and with Māori partners. We’re working to deepen our engagement with Māori and to increase the opportunities available to Māori in areas such as research, commercialisation and investing.
