What we do with governments

The UniServices Government team for New Zealand Australia and the Pacific (Government NZAP Team) works with our government partners to meet the demands of global, social and economic change by connecting them with leading researchers to develop effective solutions that address real-world challenges.

The Government NZAP team have strong relationship management capabilities including managing the relationship between funders and academics, service delivery, contract development and service design, managing risk and proposal and policy development. We can work with you to find solutions to most complex of problems providing answers, projects and programmes which benefit New Zealand and the wider Australia and Pacific region.

Kerry Price

Kerry is the General Manager Government NZAP. Kerry has been with UniServices since 2008. With over 22 years’ experience in public and population health he has a passion for identifying and developing partnership opportunities with organisations and government which utilise the wealth of research capability and experience at The University of Auckland to improve health outcomes for populations within New Zealand and around the world.

Anna Booth

Anna is Business Development Director – Health Initiatives, Government (NZAP). Anna works with government, health delivery providers and University of Auckland academics to develop and implement innovative population health initiatives and provide the health sector with evidence based advice, training and resources to improve the health care system in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Jeffery Nikoia

Jeffery is Director- Government Initiatives NZAP. He is responsible for providing business leadership for all education initiatives in New Zealand and is leading the company’s government strategy in the Pacific region as well as education projects in Australia. Jeffery has expertise and experience in marketing, product development, business development and management.

Emma Bolwell

Emma Bolwell is a Business Development Manager in the Government NZAP team. Emma works across the Medical, Education and Engineering faculties connecting government funders to University of Auckland expertise. Emma provides business leadership for the national ‘safer surgery’ programme MORSim (Multidisciplinary Operating Room Simulation). Emma also focuses on developing new partnerships in health and technology, the NGO sector and with social agencies.

Rebecca Adams

Rebecca Adams is the Government Relations Manager based in Wellington. She is responsible for strengthening the company’s relationship with government agencies and identifying new areas of potential growth in environment, agriculture and international development policy. Rebecca’s expertise is in diplomacy and her experience is based on building commercial and political relationships internationally.
